Heritage Transport Show
Kent County Show Ground, Detling
On Saturday 7th April 13 Club members set off for the show at 7.30am on a cold and overcast morning. A few of us in faster cars went on ahead of the others to book our space in the covered barn at the showground. We encountered some light rain on the way there but the rest of the day was dry.
We parked up in the barn and settled down for a pleasant day among freinds.
A few owners took the opportunity to polish their cars as they were under cover and to
remove water marks left by the rain en route.
Below are some pictures of our cars at the event
Drive it Day April 22nd
On Drive It Day the Club organised a Classic Car run from Sandwich to the Elham Valley Railway museum. IKt was a beutiful day and 23 Club cars made their way via Wingham and Whitfield, along the Ehlam Valley and arrived at the museum where we held a static displey of the cars. At 1.00 pm we all departed and drove to the Dover Transport Museum, retracing our steps along the Elham Valley. We joined many other Classic cars ay Dover in a staic display, but the Club cars were rather scattered in the parking area as we had to mingle with the cars which were already there.
It was a great day out that was enjoyed by allwho took part. Below are some photo's of the Club cars at the Railway museum.
